April 27 Meeting: Defending Public Education: From Book Bans to Ballots

We’ll hear from Caprice Edmond, Chair of the Pinellas County School Board, a veteran educator with decades of experience across Pinellas schools, who now helps lead the district through some of the most consequential decisions it has faced. We’ll also hear from Tammy Jaycox Kaplan, a local parent and advocate who has been deeply engaged at the school level and brings a clear-eyed view of how these policies are showing up for students and families day to day.
